I gained a lot from the retreat, from friendships, to a refreshed appreciation for nature, to a brand new love of our Lord.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to meet every one of you, but those I was blessed enough to meet I am so very glad I did. 

These campus ministries are full of beautiful souls and unique personalities. You can't not fit with an amazing group like ours at UNM and the one at ENMU. Having students that are Christians like you all at these schools is truly a blessing to all that you interact with.

Fortunately, I took advantage of the scenery. I took a wonderful hike that concluded in bonding between 4 of us girls and a treat for our eyes we never get in the city. It's humbling to surround yourself with all-out nature like that as often as possible. On the night of the bonfire, we were graced with the presence of a cloudless sky that had bright twinkling stars, another thing we don't get to experience often in the city. Nor do we get the time to appreciate it.

Lastly, but absolutely most importantly, my walk with God has been more faithful since then. Not only because of my new friends or my time to stop and smell the ponderosa's, but because of the words of God through Scott, Chase, and Adam. They brought us life changing words that we were, hopefully, blessed enough to absorb.

 I thank God that He opens my heart to His grace and love, and even though not everyone is open to it, I am so very glad you all are! I hope you all got something wonderful out of this retreat, thank you for sharing your weekend with me!
